On February 1, 2013, CSI Professionals, Inc. graced the campus of the California State University-LA for an exclusive seminar regarding H1-B process. The seminar was given by Marge Ordiales (CSI Professionals, Inc. Vice President), exclusively for CSULA international students.
CSI is grateful to Amy Wang, Director of the International Office at CSULA, for inviting us to meet and discuss U.S. employment and immigration issues with their international students.
The CSI team was impressed by the students’ eagerness to learn more about the immigration policies that can affect their current and future status. The attendees consisted of different college levels, from freshmen to graduate students. It meant that these students were being “Proactive” especially about their future here in the United States. This is the same characteristic that CSULA’s international students share with CSI Professionals, Inc.
Both CSI and international students deal with time sensitive issues. Being proactive can save time, money and energy when it comes to dealing with employment and immigration matters. It can help plan for the future effectively and efficiently.
CSI considers this seminar as a lucky one, since it was our very first scheduled seminar for this year, 2013. We look forward to having another event or seminar with CSULA! We have such a great time discussing with the students.
