The Nation has decided on change and we are now hoping and believing; it is probably a time for change, a unifying one. The painful concession speech has been said, the acceptance of the new president elect has been delivered and of course, the remarks of our outgoing President Obama has been shared with the nation. What is left of the people whose only longing is to be guided by leaders with credibility and a vision that will not just walk but work the “talk”.
“We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated. That in fact, it may be necessary to encounter defeats so we can know who we are and what we can overcome, what makes us stumble and fall and somehow miraculously, rise and go on.” – Maya Angelou
Rise to the occasion, unify and be resolute in making this nation, great again and as one proud California resident, live and follow the words of our newly elect California Senator, K. Harris – “we are now ready to work towards a progressive agenda.”
